How do you use a proxy for a specific program (in my case Ventrilo (VoIP software).

I can find web based proxies etc. but i cant find anything to get pass the ban that a certain group have on both my subnets. :(:(

Please help, thanks in advanced.

In short you can't - a proxy takes port 80 (webpage) requests and forwards them on or sends the results back to you - if you want it to work with your VOIP you would need a proxy that handles the port your VOIP prog uses. What you would like is your prog to be working on another machine outside your subnet that you can then access - from within your subnet and also use the ports that you are allowed to use. Chances are slim, can you run this prog from pen drive perhaps ?
