Hi there, is there a way to password protect folders ? Let say I have a personal folder in My Document that I dont want anybody but me to go see what's in it by asking for a password before exploring it ? I look in all the available option in properties but it seem to be only for networking access. Thank ahead to all the advise you can give me.

You have to get 3rd party software to do this. I used one of those program before, altough it prevent people from going into the folder, it doesn't prevent them from seeing the file name. You can always change the file name to whatever. You can go here "http://www.pcprivacy.homestead.com/download.html" it said free, but i dont know. There's many others do "google" search.

Hi Marty, I use a very effective little utility called "Hide Folders XP". It is simple to use, just click to hide a folder and click to un-hide. It removes the folder such that it can't even be seen in "My Documents". They have a free version and a one with a few more options for about $20 I think. Go to http://www.fspro.net/. Good luck
