My brother downloaded a piece of software the other day i think it was some sort of free keylogger. But after that when i shut my computer down and restarted it, the programs like internet explorer, msn messenger basically all other programs take a while before they basically load and open. Ive ran ad aware, spybot, trojan remover and still cant seem to find no remedy . Just checking to see if anyone may know what causing this problem and how to fix it.
My brother is banned from my computer for life,

It helps to know CPU/RAM.
That is Processor(CPU) type and speed. RAM is how much memory your computer has.

Right click My Computer,
then Properties,
Then read at the bottom right what it all is.

lowell3< You may want to go to the link below and download & run the CWShredder tool. The symptoms you describe could very well be caused by a variant of the CoolWebSearch hijacker. It's worth a shot.
