Comment:

I am having problems on opening an ".exe" file in the command prompt in windows xp Professional edition.
When I run the file in command prompt in windows xp the command prompt returns "program too big to fit in memory".
Also, I tried opening the file in win 98, and got the following error> not a valid win 32 application. I also renamed the file to.zip and winzip says it is not a valid archive. I tried burning the file as an iso and got this message> Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not compatible with windows. Any other ideas?

Can you elaborate on what exactly the file is/consists of?

All the symptoms you described appear when an EXE file is corrupt or altered. Try to get a good one.

Hell, the error message told him that...

"The disk might be corrupted,or it could be using a format that is not compatible with windows."

All of the symptoms you are having are
typical symptoms of file being corrupted.

If you just recently downloaded the file,
you must redownload it from another source.
