program shutdown problems

i am having a problem when i am shutting down my computer. it says that the program "shellicon hidden window" is shutting down but i have tried to so the iconcache.db and located the hidden files to locate it and i have found nothing. can you help???

It is in this folder.
C:\Documents and Settings\( ? maybe philip )\Local Settings\Application Data

You have to watch XP because it lies like a rug!!!
XP will show you an empty file but it doesn't always mean it's empty. Bill Gates shows you only what he wants! (I keep my XP on FAT32 so I can boot up with DOS and sneak a peek)

You won't trust Windows/NTFS to accurately report filesystem information because of Bill Gates, but you will trust DOS/FATx? That logic seems....flawed. You do know that DOS is a Microsoft product and is more closely associated with Bill Gates than any version of Windows ever was, right?
