Hello everyone, Recently my program icons have all somehow changed to a white box with a blue top. When I double click on them to install I get a large black window (kinda looks like a command promt window) and says "invalid directory"... If I wait for about 5 to 10 seconds the program will eventually start to install. How do I correct this???

Out2Late, SWAG, sounds to me like your machine's getting the instruction to display the icon, hence the box, but it doesn't find the info to put into the box created. Think I'd look closely at drivers and make sure there wasn't a corrupt or missing one (delete and replace?). HTH. Ed in Texas.

hey, this may sound crazy, but try changing your desktop theme. I think I've seen this happen before when you change the theme that all the icons become one type like MEdia Player type or similar. It's worth a try. Goodluck
