When I try to install Windows XP Pro over Windows ME I get a message stating "The Product ID which you entered is invalid. Please try again." immediatly after entering the ID code. I know the code is correct - I have even tried the ID code of a friends version but get the same message! I have tried the upgrade option and the new installation option with both Product IDs but always get the invalid ID message. I am running a 1.33GHz Athlon with 256Mb of RAM. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
