Hey i have a problem with my processor.i think i changed something in BIOS.The properties show my processor speed is 799 MHz but before 4 days i had it 1.79 GHz.How can i change back it ?
If it's a laptop, what you're experiencing is normal.
If it's a desktop system, you probably lowered the CPU frequency setting when you were poking around in the BIOS.

To begin, please give a better description of your system. Is it a laptop/desktop? What model HP? What were you changing in BIOS settings? If in doubt you can always load default settings then reset individual things to suit however your first port of call should be your motherboard manual.

If it is a laptop does the speed change when the AC adapter is plugged in?
Most laptops do not have settings to change the BIOS values for CPU settings. If you are not sure what changed go back into BIOS and most have a restore to default setting. First record the current settings and then select restore default and see if the CPU shows the same speed.
