Problems with Xp NTFS with raid

Comment:
When I first set up Xp Pro with my sis raid with ntfs the system slowly degrades (checking drives for consistancy) then removeing corrupted files. Eventually the system wont boot. But when fat32 is installed no errors and the system flies. I am realy confused I thought stability was the other way around. And why is there such a drastic change on HD speed between the two?

Actually, stability wise its the opposite of what you think, however, reliability on RAID is higher. As to the speed, if you are set up to use a RAID mirror drive this can happen if the wrong drivers are being used or the mirror drive becomes corrupt and tries to sync with the main/master. FAT32 (although less reliable) will almost always be faster.
