Problems with win xp

OS: win xp
CPU/Ram: hp pavillion 512n

When I turn on my Computer, before the windows start, in the screen appear a error message advising lass.exe...when you update your password... and the computer restart, and restart, and restart, like a loop, and this message appear again, and again....

What I do?? Because I don't have the recovery cds...format????

NOte: I use a hp pavilliom 512n with win xp.
