Comment:

Whenever I log off, I get an error message saying:

MediaAcck.exe:
The applet failed to initialise as the system was shutting down.

(MediaAcck.exe is in the directory: C:/Program Files/Media Access)

If I then log back on, I can not shut down or log off my computer - I can get the shut down, restart and standby buttons to appear, but pressing them does nothing.
I can shut down the first time I log on, I just can't if I log off and then log back on again. How do I sort this problem out? Any help would be appreciated.

If I'm not mistaken that one you should be able to uninstall from Add/remove programs (unless you actually want to keep the thing)
