Hi there hope you can help me i have just upgraded my system to a Soltek rev-4 purple Ray motherboard, AMD 1800XP chip, 40 gig maxtor hard disk, 256DDR ram, soundblaster live 1024 sound card and ethernet card running Windows XP pro. When i fiited my Asus V7100 pro vga card windows would only see it as a default card. When i loaded the software for the card Windows said it was not dititally signed but i loaded them anyway. After rebooting my system it would only go as far as the initialisation screeen and then reseting . I went to Asus's website and downloaded the updated drivers for the card but the same thing happened , the only thing i could do is to reboot in safe mode and roll back the drivers. The games i play all use Open GL and because i cannot load the drivers i cannot play the games. Am i doing something wrong please help.

have you checked if the system is configured to not install not digitally signed drivers?
you can check this by right clicking "my comp" (im using swedish version so its kinda hard for me to explain) and then click properties. then press hardware or what its called..look around there and you should find it. if its checked on dont install not digitally drivers then change that.. (i do know what im talking about its just its hard to explain, heh)...ok, well if that doesnt work or you know thats not the problem then i dont know, hope someone else can help. hope you understood what i tried to explain atleast..lol, good luck.

Try the latest reference drivers from nVidia, instead of the Asus.
