CPU/Ram: 256 mb ram athlon 2600+ p

hello, i downloaded pascal from the internet, as i am using it at college as my default programming lanuguage, when i come to install it, it comes up with an error saying that a certain file is unsuitable for running DOS applications within 16 bit windows subsystem.

Please help!!

Sounds like you need to run the program strictly in DOS, not a window in windows.

Which version of TP are you using? I can run TP 5.5 in a window quite happily (also BP/TP 7).
