While reinstalling windows Xp on my laptop, I have message c:\windows\microsoft.net\framework\v2.0050727\mscorwks.dll could not be loaded. What does this mean?
Did that error appear whilst you were installing Windows (very unlikely I think), or did it appear after Windows had started (more likely)? If the latter, downloading and installing .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 from Microsoft's website should solve the problem: http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/down...
If your XP is 32-bit, click the orange download button for the file named NetFx20SP2_x86.exe
for 64-bit XP, you need the middle one, NetFx20SP2_x64.exe
Thank you for your response. Could I ask what does "The procedure entry point GetRequestRunTimeInfo could not be located in the dynamic link library mscorwks.dll" mean. This appear after window has boot up.
