Dear group:

I am having trouble deleting a couple of files. I have tried the program MoveOnBoot and that did not work. I tried booting into safe mood but I could not get the computer to boot into safe mood. I tried to erase the files and that did not work.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the help.

Did you try changing the attributes of the files? Most likely are set as read only. Why can't you boot into safe Mode. No response from the KBoard during POST?

Try Unlocker - it should get rid of the file.

I'm not sure what you are trying to delete, but I just finished a dreadful week of trying to rid my system of a .dll file and BHO I couldn't delete.

You might try Combofix.

Maybe this will help you...not sure.

Thanks folks for the help.

I tried Unlocker and that did not work to delete the folders. One of the folders is my Fritz9 folder and it is empty and the other is my Winrar folder. They both say Access denied.

I also tried to go to the command prompt and could not delete them there either.

I tried to rename them and delete them and still had no luck.

When I try to run Delete Doctor I get an error message that says "deletedr.exe is not a valid win32 application."

I tried to delete it from the registry and that did not work.

I ran combofix and the folders are still there.

What now?

Thanks
