Since I upgraded (or is it downgraded) my XP machines (a Toshiba laptop and a no name PC) to SP 2 I can't surf certain links. For example if I go to http://www.kitco.com/ and click on STYLE FILE:... under the "Latest Gold News" title I get a beep or blib sound and the browser doesn't do anything. Under Opera I can easily surf this link, and I use to before my upgrade do it with IE. I've played extensively with IE options and have had no luck so far.

The time has come the walrus said to speak of many things...

SP2 automatically installs a pop-up blocker for Internet Explorer I believe. If you right click on IE in the start menu and click "internet properties" and click the privacy tab, you can either disable the pop-up blocker or add http://www.kitco.com/ to the allowed list.
