I like duplicated (cloned) my stuff to a newer HD including WinXP with Norton Ghost free trial (10 days left)

And now the stuff is on the new HD, it made backups file C_Drive00.v2i (52.9GB)
, C_drive001_i001.1v2i (60MB) and C_Drive001_i002.iv2i (61MB) on my new HD,

My older brother told me something Master to slave, slave to master and I need to make a boot disk to finish the progress. Because I cannot use (restore my computer) while Windows is operating. And I cannot do that in dos mode because NTFS HD cannot be seen in Dos mode.

Only way to make it work is the CD of Norton ghost and I don’t have it because I downloaded the free trial one (15 days of free use) 5 days ago.

Also there’s a boot disk you can do for XP pro but it requires 6 diskettes,
So will that 6 diskettes boot disk work for my issues?

The new hdd should have had a cd to use to clone the old drive to the new. Usually you set the new drive to ide2 as a secondary master and then clone to it then install it on ide1. . Also here is the info on ghost.

I am just saying how it is usually done. It's your decision what to do.

You are messing it up.

You made files not a clone of anything.

Get G4U or G4L and clone the drive or get the older ghost 2003.

Oddly enough most hard drives come with or can be downloaded a disk that will do exactly what you want for free also.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.
