Hello there! Dear my problem is that i have purchased a new DVD-ROM i have installed PowerDVD XP 4.0 Picture result is very great but sound quality is very low.My speakers have very high sound volume but sound is coming too low. My sound card is made by Cmedia. And it's model # is CM8738.Tell me the sulotion of my problem that if i am having problem with my sound card or with my DVD Decoder Thax A lot.

Is the sound card built-in or add-on? Make sure you have all necessary audio wires coming form your DVD to your sound card. Also make sure the digital output is not selected cause you sound card may not support that. BUT it could also be a voume control issue. Find a volume control for you CD drive- and play with that, see if that makes a difference.
