Every time I try to run MS Outlook (2003), I get an error message:

"An error occurred in the folder shortcuts file (.fav). Outlook will recreate the default folder shortcuts."

It doesn't download messages after that. There is no problem with E-mail Accounts' settings... I reinstalled MS Office but problem still remains. Problem isn't with Outlook otherwise it would have been resolved after re installation.

Have you tried creating a new Mail Delivery file? Are you using a stand-alone version or Exchange?

I think the "Topic" is appropriate... Better than "Please Help Me!!!"

Jennifer,

I didn't create new file (.pst) but I will do it and try to import emails from old one - hoping that it works. I have an account on local Exchange server...

If you're using Exchange, then you're not using a pst file. Is anyone else having this problem? Have you checked with your Exchange Administrator?

We are using Exchange and also .pst because server's storage capacity isn't great - emails are downloaded to computers with "Leave a copy of message on the server" option disabled. No one else is having that problem and Administrator doesn't know how to solve this issue either.
