LAN is an acronym of Local Area Network and not a specific, there are too many different setups/types to list. So you dont know for sure whether you have internet connectivity? How do you connect to the internet? cable/dsl/DUN/etc? This si going to be difficult to troubleshoot if you arent able to provide basic information.
