I understood the problem to be an inability to click open your IE Home Page following removal of some "virus" using McAfee Antivirus program.
Can you use the IE browser to surf the internet without any error messages or other problems?
Can you post verbatim, the error message you get when you try to open and access your Homwe Page? Please don't post an edited version as you understood what it meant. M

ljwilso, Go to the link below and under the letter "H" scroll down to "Home Page Hijacking" where you'll find several possible fixes (e.g. Unlock Home Page: reg file). If you use this fix save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it and answer yes to the import prompt. There's also a fix to lock your homepage once you have it set to what you want.
