I'm having a problem with access https websites in IE, Mozilla and Opera. I've tried doing a system restore since I wasn't having problems some time ago. I know at one point the Avast Antivirus picked up that there was a virus but lately it's been running without detecting anything so I'm not sure if that's the problem.

Thanks in advanced for any ideas on how this can be fixed.

netsurfer802, kinda 'off the wall' 'maybe'. Could it be a nasty and it lives in 'restore'? Just for grins, get into safe mode and disable restore THEN scan and give a reboot a whirl.
