Problem sending command to program

Today, I tried to open an html file while I was online and I got this message telling me that "there was a problem sending command to this program" then operation failed. Html is not opened, so I have to open it with FrontPage.
When I got offline. I tried it again. the file was opened without any problem. Can any body tell me why this happening please? Note: I've only just discovered this problem today. You help will be appriciated.

Did it only happen with that one page? Or with each and every page you tried? Could just be a badly coded webpage....

Now, badly coded page will send out a error message asking whether I'd like to continue running the scripts. and this, only a error message pops up. the kind rectange message box which is very long side ways. it happens every time I open a downloaded web page, I get this error message, if I was online. it only happens when I'm online.

If you use ZoneAlarm, make sure you allow Windows Explorer to connect to the Internet. In my case, IE opened the local html file correctly while surfing. Hopefully this is the answer to your problem as well.
