Every time i try to run visual basic tools (mainly trying to run package abd deployment wizard) i get an error that says:

PDMan98 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
then i click on more info and it says this:

AppName: pdcmdln.exe AppVer: 6.0.0.8169 ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 660430ae

So what is going on!???

The old PdW that came with VS, works quite well w. Win9X
but since 2000 I've been using Visual studio Installer, Currently V1.1, because of similar problems
It's available as free download from MS
