I have some programs on my "Add or Remove" list that wont uninstall because it is missing a file called "uninstall.inf" or "uninstal.log". I also have a program called OpenMG that I had installed for a mini disc player i had, but i sold my MD player along with the program CD, and for some reason it wont uninstall. Any other ways of removing these apps from my computer?

This Page has some instructions for uninstalling manually. After that you might want to use one of the many "windows cleanup" programs such as "Ultra WinCleaner". These can sometimes be found free on cover cd's. You need to apply a little caution and comon sense when uninstalling manually and also when using clean up programs as some of them are a little gung ho!

Well the thing is, the applications that im trying to uninstall; they are only on the "Add or Remove Programs" window. I deleted them from the Program Files folder. I need to know how to take it off of the Add or Remove Programs window. The instructions say I have to right click and click on properties on the programs shortcut. but I dont have shortcuts for the programs I want to uninstall.

Forgot to mention it's a 30 day trial.

If you uninstall from Windows Explorer, you delete the uninstall file, and therefore Add/Remove will not find it. There are two options: one remove all reference to it in the registry. If you're not familiar with working the registry, don't do this, and even if you are, back up the registry first and be extremely careful.
The other option is to reinstall the programs and then delete them from Add/Remove.

Also there are various utilities (the afore mentioned "cleaners" and some others) which will remove redundant "Add/Remove" entries here is an example.
Also this MS info on doing it the hard way.
