Problem playing .MOV files

OS: Windows XP SP1
CPU/Ram: Athlon 2500+ / 512MB PC32

I can't play mov files. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling all codecs but it's still the same. The audio can be heard but the video output is green or sometimes the video frames are freezing.. what could be the error?

That is a Quicktime file...Are you using Quicktime? IF the file itself is not corrupt, try downloading AVIcodec

This program displays all the codecs needed to play any kind of video file and it also shows if you have the codecs or not. It even goes as far to tell you where to dl needed codecs with a press of the "web" button...
