OS: Win XP Pro
CPU/Ram: 1.729 GHZ
Product: Acer/Aspire 4315
Comment:

I bought a laptop (Acer/Aspire 4315) several months ago and it had Windows XP Professional pre-installed.
It was infested with some rogue spywares so yesterday I re-installed Windows XP Professional. The re-installation is successful and the windows XP is activated through a phone call with Microsoft.
Now I have a big problem:
I can not access the internet, I can not use the mouse, I can not use any USB equipment.
I went to the 'Device Manager' and found that the drivers for the Ethernet Controller, USB Controller are not installed. This must be the reason that I can not use any of the above mentioned.

I am an online person, I can't survive without a working laptop, I highly appreciate for any suggestion and comment

You need to reinstall the motherboard chipset drivers-you should be able to find them on the Acer CD which came with the laptop(assuming one did).

Thanks, but I don't have an Acer CD. If I can get one from the vendor, could I just insert it into the CD-ROM drive and perform the 'Chipset' drivers installation?

Why don't you just go to the Acer website and download the needed drivers, slap it on a flash drive or burn it to CD, and then install?
