I am having a problem with a couple of letter keys on my keyboard when I first start up my computer and link into the internet. After a couple of minutes the keys will work, very confusing?
I changed keyboards and the problem still exist. The two keys (that I have noticed so far) are "B" and "N". I have not went through every key to see if there are any more.
The most recent thing that I have updated was the 9 critical updates that windows update just put out. Could there be an issue there?

I think it is unlikely that the OS is doing this. The keyboard is more basic to the system. I would get a dos based keyboard test program and see. Might have to use a linux live cd if there is a keyboard test. In any case if you have dos you could just type every letter upper and lower.
I think your motherboard is acting up.

I have exact the same problem, also after installing the last Windows critical updates. The letters n and b and slash / (?) are only available via the on-screen keyboard. I already controlled with the latest Norton antivirus, Ad-Aware and Spybot software. What's going on?
