Recently, I found out that I cant launch any setup (setup.exe). I dont know what I changed because before I was running just fine. I tried on a game demo... didnt work. Now, I noticed the same problem with dev cpp compiler. If I ctrl-alt-del, on the Processes tab, I see wowexec.exe and setup.exe and under Mem Usage, theres a blank next to those 2 unlike all the other processes. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Kill those processes, reboot, and try again.
WOWEXEC.EXE is the 16-bit emulation environment for win32.
Looks like you got a setup running and it's hanging.
