I just finished building my computer,I have a Shuttle AN35N-Ultra SocketA, nForce2-400 motherboard with an athlon 2700+ processor. The problem I have is I can't install Window XP PRO. Im using the six Windows XP boot disks just like I did on my other computer which I had no problem with. The problem this time is that when I put in the first boot disk im getting the following error message: File/bios info.inf could not be loaded, The error code is 4096, setup cannot continue, press any key to exit. I also checked in my bios to make sure that booting from floppy dirve is enabled. I have no idea what to do, I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

I take it you can't boot from the CD?
The floppy could have gone bad; create a new set.

If you just built your system, then why not go into the BIOS and have it boot from CD-ROM first!!! Forget about the floppy crap since you don't have to sit there and wait for it to ask you to put in the second, third, fourth... I just put together a new computer and installed Windows XP Pro directly from CD over the weekend. The only problem I had was that one of the security patches gave me a blue screen of death upon reboot. I did go into safe mode and went back to the last good config but then decided to re-install the whole thing over. This time, I decided not to have Windows download and install those patches yet until I could look at each one more carefuly.
