Problem installing Vista

I run WinXp 32bit OS. Now I want to install vista. After I insert DVD and boot it. It gathers the system information. Just after that it gives message that winload.exe is corrupt or missing.
As others suggested I cannot repair anything here...

Why would you want to switch to Vista? Are you booting to the Vista CD? Are you sure that there are Vista drivers for all your hardware devices?

I have checked the compability of my system and software. Its perfect for Vista. All my hardware are vista compitable

Keep in mind that just because it says "All my hardware are vista compitable" Does Not mean that you will necessarily have all the Drivers that work with Vista!!!! I would make sure you have all the drivers for your hardware first!
