Hi.
I Have win2k adv server on my machine and i try to install winXP. When system restarts the system says, No cd-rom found.
I have tried to install a driver or my diamond SCSI card by hitting F6 during startup, that didnīt solve the problem. Please help!

I tried installing XP with my scsi cdrom, it just hanged up when i tried to boot on it. i tried using the 6 bootdisks but it didnt work so i borrowed a "normal" cdrom and then it worked..this dont really help, i just recommend you should try and borrow a cdrom from someone. good luck.

I had problems, installing xp,, same thing no cd rom, or non system disk error, I played around with it for about 2 days then called ms support # no help, and it cost me about 45 $$$, this is how I solved it,, set bios to start from cd rom, If that doesn't work, my mobo has a hot key on boot, f1 and I can select from drives to boot to. and ms support site has a file I think it's called i386 or something similar you can copy to floppy and supposedly you can boot from that,, good luck and let me know how it turns out..
