Hi
When I go to install Microsoft Applications etc or patches by Microsoft the installer just crash (freezes) and the program does not install.
Anybody any idea how to fix it? I know I had a problem like this when I had norton systemworks but I have not got anything like that installed

Norton does cause some weird problems, sometimes. I believe you will have to do a reinstall over XP. I haven't done it yet, so let's see what others have to say, first. I don't want to steer you wrong.
