This seems like it is the classic case of bad / leaky capacitors.

Open your PC case and examine the motherboard electrolytic capacitors for tell tale signs of bulging / leaking.

For more detail read my post in the following thread (see Response Number 6):

thanks alot for your replies...but I forgot to tell you one important thing:
sometimes when I reboot ...I got the BIOS setup screen comes out with a problem in system clock ...(it needs to adjust the time and date) and some other times I got the BIOS mentioning a problem in specifiying the processor .. I mean it could not get that the processor is P4, 2GH... and when I adjust those things ... it boots and works.
IT seems not a capacitor's or Video card problem...because the system starts sometimes??!!!! isn't it ?!!!!

You are probably right. Given this new information (it is always best to give all the information at the beginning), I now suspect that you probably have a weak motherboard battery.

Try changing your motherboard battery.

It seems that it is incapable of sustaining the CMOS settings while the power is off.

Thank you for this advise...but I have tried it several times .... there is some thing making the BIOS to not load at booting!!!!!
I installed the 512 memory card into another PC and it was OK. So, it is not the memory nor the HD...

Check your battery housing and make sure that both the connections are solid. If the battery is loose it may cause intermittent issues.

Also check and make sure that the CMOS jumper (if there is one) is connecting the right pair of pins together. You may need to consult your motherboard manual for this.
