Hi all, I am having a problem bringing my messages in Outlook Express from my old computer to my new computer. I have about 75 folders that I made, and they (along with their messages) all were brought over to my new computer without a problem ( via an external hard drive). Here's the problem - ALL the "basic" folders -inbox, outbox, etc. - DO NOT come over. Their .dbx folders are put in the same store folder as the 75 folders that I made - the ones that are showing up, and they have the correct size (the outbox has 99 MB of data in it), but when you open OE, the messages just DON'T show up. The outbox folder is there, but there are no messages in it. I have tried importing them through OE's Import wizard, copying the files to the sotre folder, even naming them somthing else (ROGER1) and putting that .dbx file in the store folder. NOTHING!!!! I really need these messages, does anybody have any ideas????? Thank you.

Roger, SWAG, suspect you're having difficulty cause the folder name is confusing. Try using Ctrl+A to selct all and Ctrl+C to copy and then paste in the new folders. If that fails, perhaps you can drag/drop? That's essentially what import is supposed to do, but ... HTH. Ed in Texas.
