Friends... i recently downloaded a corporate free version of winrar which installed viruses into my computer.. VirusRemover2008 which is the latest threat was installed into my computer without my knowledge... I was on AVG antivirus at tht time.. I had the latest definations and everything else.. AVG was not able to find the virus all together... Thn i installed spybot search and destroy it found the virus, spyware and trojan and deleted it ... now the virusremover2008 (virus) had messed up my pc by setting the date in military style.. and writing a virus alert just next to the time in task bar... it has also hidden most of the functions from my start menu... i have reinstalled windows.. (upgrade option) (i did not format the drive) still in vain i can still see the virus alert written next to the time.. 1) can some1 please help me get rid of this. 2) which is the best antivirus software which can also take care of spyware malware adware and whtever other wares!
