I find I am completely unable to create any
manual System Restore points.
Here's what happens when I try:
1. I click "Create a Restore Point"
2. I enter a name in the dialog box
3. I click "Create"
4. I get the error message:
"System Restore is not able to create
restore point. Please restart the
computer and then run System Restore
again."OK, so I do exactly that. Then after the
reboot I get *exactly* the same errormessage.
I'm therefore unable to create any system
restore points.
Please note I'm using the Home edition which
I installed onto a clean partition in case
this information is relevant. Also, after installation I changed the drive
letters of all partitions beyond the
partition containing XP. But everything
else seems to work OK *at the moment*.
Any and all help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
