All of a sudden my computer wont connect to the interent. I connect via an ethernet cable to my broadband modem, and it used to be fine but now it wont work. I was messing around before trying to get it to work with a router which turned out to be faulty but now it just says page unavailable and I never physically altered any settings.
It sometimes eventually finds the page, then really slowly looks for links you request and then gives up. My network settings for the card are set to find an IP automatically which is correct. I tried using the repair connection but it doesnt work at all. Is there anyway I can somehow reset the configuration to the absolute default without wiping the computer and reinstalling?
