Hi
I wud like to know one thing is sometimes if the monitor doesn't support high resulation and if by mistake we select high resulation on that monitor we ended up with blank screen .. How to get the previous resulation settings if the new one doesn't work? I'm asking this because with blank screen we cannot set it back to working resulation. It happens with old monitor

Any suggestion?

Keep Smiling

Restart in the Safe mode. Change settings, restart.

Do as seawatch has said and you should be OK.

Normally there is a prompt after the screen is resized to your new resolution which you have to click either "yes" to accept the new setting or "no" to reject it.

If you do not do anything then after 15 seconds it reverts back to your original setting.

So if you end up with a blank screen, all you have to do is nothing and wait 15 seconds and the screen will be back to your old setting.

Simple proceedure, right click on the desktop.. settings, and adjust the resolution from 800x600 to 1024x768.. this sounds simple enough for an idiot to do.. but sometimes even the smartest of people forget the most easiest of things..

Nice One.. =]
