Prob with Office2000 and Xp Search

I have latley been having this very wierd problem. i go into the Windows Xp search and when i click an option on the left as to what i want to search for a microsoft office 2000 box comes up and is trying to install itself. I then click cancel and it keeps coming up and wont go away. I use office like Word and Excel and they work fine? Would someone know how to fix my Search Section??
