Comment:

My vb application creates a html file and then closes the object and again opens the created file in IE. While opening the file in IE, from the vb appln gives "Runtime error 70 - Permission denied". But the file is created and able to open the file in IE from Windows Explorer. The Win xp user has all file permissions. Is there any prob with the mshtml.tlb that we use as reference in the vb project (or) version of IE 6. Require Immediate help please... Thanks

Okay, I'm not a huge VB guy, and your post sounded a little muddled, but what it sounds like is happening is that your program is closing the file, and then opening it again in IE? If so, have you made sure the System account has access to that file? Sounds like the file is being opened under system account credentials, and not those of the logged in user...
