Hello Everybody.
Earlier this week, AT&T had some server problems.
AT&T insists they're fixed now, but I still cannot
send or recieve e-mail. If I try, I get this-The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'postoffice.worldnet.att.net', Server: 'postoffice.worldnet.att.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
I have tried-
1. Re-inputting my account info
2. Pinging 'mailhost.att' (0% loss)
3. Using the 'i' servers (imailhost, ipostoffice)I cannot uninstall/reinstall because the software
was on the computer when I bought it, so I don't have an install disc.
Prior to AT&Ts server problems, I haven't had any
problems with it.
Does anybody have any ideas? Anything?

Perhaps the settings need changed; AT&T may have changed something needed to connect. For example, 'postoffice.worldnet.att.net' may now be different -- mail.worldnet.att.net. Or maybe the port should be different. Do you have a password setting in OE ? Check with AT&T to see if your e-mail connection settings may need to be changed. I don't think it's a fault with Outlook Express. And you should definately get a OS install disc.

I've already consulted with AT&T, and they've
verified my account info.
It really doesn't make any sense...
according to AT&T (who I don't have much faith in), the servers are fine, and my settings are correct.
