|There are PRN files viewers but they rely on the PRN file being generated with PostScript code, a general code for printers. Very few printers, especially inkjet, actually use PostScript. It is more for Laser text printers.|
A PRN file contains, among other things, printer codes for the printer it was meant to be printed on. Any application to display a PRN file would have to be able to decode the printer codes for every printer ever made. Clearly an impossible task.
Realy a PRN file is good for one thing only and that is sending to a printer for printing.
