Having problems with setting up my printer. When i go to add printer and it comes to the screen to choose port my LPT1 port is not listed here. I get a messege Useable port can't be found. Why is this and how do i get my LPT1 port there. I do know that in device manager the LPT1 port is there and is working properly. Can someone please help me.

Thank you

LPT ports can be disabled in the BIOS. Normally they aren't, but with the advent and proliferation of USB printers, who knows what your computer vendor may have done.

How did you get on with your graphics card?
