run services.msc, make sure the spooler service is started and the start up is set to automatically. some 'tweaker' may have turned it off.

Today's subliminal thought is: 'Calm down ... it's only ones and zeros.'

Try what was mentioned above, if it still has the same problem however, you might have a corrupt printer driver, in which case, reinstall the driver and see how that works.

Just go to Properties of you Printer, then Advanced tab, choose Print to printer directly.

Thanks for your replies. Ive tried downloading a new driver and printing directly to the printer. I'm not to sure how to run services.msc. Ive not got the printer to print but when I print even just a blank sheet of paper the printer prints pages and pages of rubbish, numbers/symbols etc. Does anyone else have an idea that i can try?

if your printing trash- it is a definite driver issue
