My printer, a Lexmark X83 was printing fine, but now suddenly it won't print any documents or pictures from any programs or sources. Initially the printer was giving an error A06, now it doesn't even say that. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the USB port, soft booting and cold booting the computer and that hasn't resolved anything either. I'm at a loss. Thank you

Hi-

I found this checking "A06" on Google:

"A06 - P.S. LEVER - Paper select lever incorrect position.
(lever on right side)"

Maybe check that the machine itself doesn't have some sort of hardware issue?

I'd also uninstall anything that you may have installed related to this printer- including removing it from device manager (if it shows there) in addition to removing it from the regular active printers list.

Then scandisk/defrag (never hurts). Hook it up anew & run the printer's own "tools" to be sure the print heads are aligned, etc...
