Since I upgraded to Win Xp my hp printer printed both sides(HP697C). Microsoft supplied a different driver for the printer, but now prints on one side. As an accountant it is vital that the printer prints both sides, to reduce paper. Can someone suggest a printer that is compatabile with WinXP.

Go to HP's website and download their drivers. For my epson printer, you need to do that if you want to view ink levels, print at 2880 dpi, etc.

Did you check HP website for restoring printer features. They may have a download fix.
It would not be the driver for printing on both sides, but the HP software.

I have a Epson printer, and lost some features
My printer never has printed on both sides.
So I only use one sheet at a time, and turn paper over.

Wish to add:

If you go shopping for another printer, make sure it says Windows XP somewhere on the outside
of the box.
