print spooler running

I've lost the printer. I've followed lots of instructions, and I can't get the print spooler to stay running. As soon as I hit Add Printer it stops. The RPC is started, but the Locator cops an error message that it can't find the specified file. Any ideas.

Reinstall the printer drivers.
