Print spooler not running

My Lexmark Z55 was deleted from my computer. Now I went to Lexmark to get the drIver to re-install the printer but the print spooler service is not running. How do I get the spooler to start running to add the printer again. THANKS.

lovelymo, start>settings>control panel>printers and faxes>file>add printer and install it if not already in folder. If it's already there, leftclick the icon to hilite and RIGHTCLICK and select 'properties' so you can update/fix the settings. HTH. Ed in Texas.
