I'm a big gamer fan and just got this new machine. When I press the left arrow, the up arrow, and the left ctrl button, only the up arrow processes. However if I press the left arrrow, the up arrow, and the right ctrl key, all is well. I couldn't think of any reasoning for this except for one theory. Maybe only 2 signals can travel on a wire at a time...and those 3 keys are hooked on the same wire? I dont want to believe myself though because that means I have to buy a new keyboard...and set this BRAND NEW one aside. Any ideas guys?

Shrink your browser window so that the horizontal and vertical scrollbars are showing. Hold the left ctrl button and press up and down at the same time (press them really fast so u do it at the same time). If it scrolls in both directions then it's probably ur game.

Tried it...No luck, I'm assuming it's a hardware issue?

You could try using an on-screen keyboard program or typing tutor that highlights what keys are being pressed. I know I tried one out in my Windows 9x days....

Yes indeed this problem again...

Its mostlikly because its a new keyboard. New Keyboards for some reason especially cheap ones have a much smaller buffer than an older ones, probably cuts down on production costs.

I had same problem when I brought a new computer and a new keyboard I fixed it by taking the new keyboard to work and swapping it for the oldest keyboard I could find. Since I have had at least 4 new machines and I have kept the same old keyboard for all and gaming with heaps of key presses not a problem.

Either Buy an expensive gamers keyboard that you can press more than 3 keys at once with a bigger buffer or use an old keyboard.

I just about guarntee if you use an old keyboard the problem will vanish.

Hope this has helped
Vince
